Britt to Little Current - Pictures

Day #672; Loop Miles to Date = 7,957

Finally a little bit of WiFi...so we can add some pictures from the last blog post...

Early morning at Britt

Our anchorage at the Bustards...with Corkscrew and Act III.

Dingy riding at the Bustards.

Sunset at the Bustards.

Our anchorage at Bad River...although we didn't stay very long.

Anchorage at Beaverstone Bay...some changing weather made for some interesting skies for awhile.

This little floating fish camp was just tethered to the rocks on either side of it. Upon closer inspection, we believe that it belonged to one of the local Native American tribes.

Sunrise at Beaverstone Bay.

Corkscrews captain doing a little weed maintenance after pulling anchor.

Heading to shore to walk the pups at Beaverstone...photos courtesy of Act III.

Some random shots of views along the way through Collins Inlet on the way to Killarney...

The harbor at Little Current. If you look closely, you might see part of our boat in the lower left portion of the picture.
One neat thing happened to us while in Little Current. A couple approached our boat and introduced themselves as fellow Loopers who also were slipped at Little Current. They then presented us with a Giving Plate. The plate was accompanied by a bunch of different edible goodies, and it was explained to us that this had been passed from Looper to Looper along everyone's travels. They personally did not know the exact origin, but there was a list enclosed that documented all of the Loopers who this had passed through - and we recognized about half of the names on the list. From the list we were able to determine that this plate has probably been passed around for about the last year and a half. So, we enjoyed some of the goodies on the plate, added some of our own, and then passed it along the way. What a neat idea!
